Since June is PRIDE month I've created this little series of stickers (and potentially prints) to honor the beautiful LGBTIQ+ community. I'll be selling these online (and wherever I can, any wholesalers, email me!) And will be donating all the profits to an LGBTIQ+ organization that specifically supports teenagers/youth. In the spirit of inclusivity I'll be printing these stickers in 3 colors (swipe to see the selection).

For this sticker I'm using the baby in the womb, the rainbow and roses as symbolism. The baby is surrounded by stars because you are star stuff, you were meant to be who you are and you are a beautiful gift from the universe. The roses represent love, friendship, kindness. They surround you because I hope you are able to surround your self with friends, partners and a community that loves and respects you. The rainbow on the roses symbolizes that no matter where you fall on the spectrum, I love and accept you as is. #bozschurrlovesyou

In 1978, when the artist Gilbert Baker, an openly gay man and a drag queen, designed the first rainbow flag. Baker later revealed that he was urged by Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay elected officials in the U.S., to create a symbol of pride for the gay community. Baker saw the rainbow as a natural flag from the sky, so he adopted eight colors for the stripes, each color with its own meaning (hot pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, turquoise for art, indigo for harmony, and violet for spirit).
