”I've been thinking a lot about life and death during this last year and the duality of having constantly contrasting feelings. Being sad but grateful, anxious but hopeful, worried but optimistic, to feel guilt when life feels good.

Memento Mori is an artistic or symbolic reminder of the inevitability of death. We are all headed to the same place (so to speak) and it's important to remember that our feelings in the moment are valid. One day you will die, so embrace the good, uplift others, be grateful. But. Allow the hurt and pain to be felt, to be recognized for what it is. It's OK to be both.

Symbolism: Anthurium signifies long-lasting love and friendship. The skull is as a representation of death, mortality and the unachievable nature of immortality. Red is the color of blood, it has historically been associated with sacrifice, danger, and courage. But. Also romance and passion.
