“This image features the jaw, teeth and white chrysanthemum as personal symbolism. In anatomy, the mandible, lower jaw or jawbone is the largest, strongest and lowest bone in the human facial skeleton. I'm using it to represent my voice, and what I've said, what I want to say, or what I've withheld. Not everything that blooms is beautiful.

As a dream symbol, the jaw can symbolize chewing on something difficult so that you can digest or assimilate its lesson. Often associated with unprocessed or unexpressed anger or frustration, the jaw can be a symbol that appears when you need to stand up for yourself or when you feel the need to speak your mind and express how you're feeling.

On the other hand, white chrysanthemums are deemed to be the symbols of truth and purity. So in this context, the flower represents my feelings and my desire to communicate honestly, in a way that is hopefully constructive, collaborative and kind.“
